4629 - Tiger Model - 1/35 Leopard II Revolution I

The Revolution is a modular upgrade package for the Leopard 2A4, developed independently by Rheinmetall Defence AG and first revealed at Eurosatory 2010. It is strictly a one-off demonstration tank that was never put into production and never saw service. So this is a bit of a rare subject — a Rheinmetall showpiece rather than an operational vehicle.

Box contents / media: Injection moulded plastic, photo-etch, polycaps, and wire cable. The sprue breakdown from the Leopard Club in-box review covers: 

• Sprue A — Running gear, main torsion bars, and slat armour mounts
• Sprue B — Individual track links (each link is a three-part assembly)
• Sprue C — Mostly turret components

  Three hypothetical Bundeswehr schemes (RAL6031/RAL9021/RAL8027, RAL6031 whitewash, and a three-tone FS/RAL scheme) plus a Rheinmetall Defence demonstrator scheme as shown at the 2012 Indonesia Defence Expo in Jakarta.
