TES5301 - Testors 1/24 CheZoom By Boyd Full detail - PREOWNED10118230
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
The CheZoom is one of Boyd Coddington's most celebrated creations — a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door hardtop so radically restyled by designer Thom Taylor that Coddington estimated only around 10 percent of the original exterior sheetmetal remained. Built for Mr. Gasket CEO Joe Hrudka on a purpose-fabricated tube chassis with front and rear suspension from a C4 Corvette, the CheZoom was powered by a 300hp LT1 350 V8 with 700R4 automatic and rode on Boyd's own 17-inch billet aluminium wheels. Finished in Peacock Teal, it sold at Barrett-Jackson in 2005 for $372,600.
