TES344 - Testors Fujimi 1/72 F-86F Sabre Jet - WWWEB10114896
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
North American's F-86 Sabre was the United States' first swept-wing jet fighter, and it became famous over Korea's "MiG Alley" in battles with the MiG-15. The F-86F brought a more powerful J47 engine and, on later batches, the "6-3" extended wing leading edge, which made it faster and better at high altitude. After Korea, Sabres equipped NATO air forces across Europe. One was West Germany's Jagdgeschwader 71 "Richthofen", which flew Canadair-built Sabre Mk.6s.
