Steve Nichols led the design of the McLaren Honda MP4/4 for 1988, the final season of turbocharged Formula One. It is still regarded as one of the most dominant cars in F1 history. Honda's RA168 V6 twin turbo was restricted to 150 litres of fuel and reduced boost, yet it outperformed the 3.5 litre naturally aspirated engines on both economy and power. Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna won 15 of the 16 races between them, and Senna took his first World Championship. This Tamiya kit is part of the 1/20 McLaren Model Kit Collection.
