The Sd.Kfz. 232 was the radio version of the German eight-wheeled heavy armoured car, with drive and steering on all eight wheels and a rear driving position. A 2 cm KwK and coaxial MG 34 sat in a small turret, topped by the large Rahmenantenne frame aerial. These cars served with Panzer division reconnaissance units from 1939 through North Africa and the Eastern Front. Tamiya Military Miniature Series No. 36, long out of production.
