Description
TAM2456 - Tamiya 1/24 Toyota Celica 2000GTR - WWHP113866
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The fourth-generation Toyota Celica (T160) appeared in 1985 and was the first Celica with front-wheel drive. It had sleek, rounded styling and retractable headlights. The top Japanese-market 2000GT-R was powered by the new 3S-GE 2.0-litre “Twin Cam 16” four-cylinder, a high-revving 16-valve engine that made the Celica one of the liveliest sport coupes of the mid-1980s. The same generation gave rise to the all-wheel-drive GT-Four, which became the foundation of Toyota’s World Rally Championship success. This vintage Tamiya kit lets you build either the Japanese domestic GT-R or the U.S. export model, with the choice of left- or right-hand drive.
