The Lexus LFA was Toyota's flagship supercar, built around a carbon fibre monocoque with a rear transaxle and a 4.8 litre V10 developed with Yamaha, an engine famous for revving to 9,000 rpm and for the sound Yamaha's acoustic engineers tuned into the intake. Production was capped at 500 cars between 2010 and 2012. Tamiya's kit is a full display model with an opening bonnet over the V10 and a rear wing that can be built raised or retracted.
