The fourth-generation Toyota Supra made its debut in February 1993, powered in top form by a 3.0 litre DOHC 24-valve twin-turbo straight six rated at 320hp. Its wider body, 17-inch wheels and oversized rear wing marked a bold break from the softer lines of the previous Supra, and the A80 has since become one of the most celebrated Japanese performance cars. Tamiya released this new-tool kit in 1993 as No. 123 in its 1/24 Sports Car Series.
