The BMW 320i was developed for Group 5 racing from the E21 3 Series, its road going shape widened with flared arches, a deep front spoiler and a rear wing, and powered by a roughly 300 horsepower four cylinder engine. This car raced in the 1977 World Championship of Makes in the BMW of North America First National City Travelers Checks livery, contesting the two litre class in the hands of drivers including David Hobbs, Sam Posey and Ronnie Peterson. This Tamiya kit features a detailed engine and a driver figure, and is motorised for an RE-140 motor and two AA batteries.
