Description
TAM2002 - Tamiya 1/20 McLaren M23 1976 - WWHP112702
Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box damaged
Gordon Coppuck designed the McLaren M23 around the Ford Cosworth DFV V8. It debuted in 1973 and carried Emerson Fittipaldi to the 1974 World Championship. In 1976, James Hunt took the ageing M23 into a season-long fight with Niki Lauda's Ferrari, and at a rain-soaked Japanese Grand Prix at Fuji he finished third to win the title by a single point. This is Tamiya's classic 1/20 Grand Prix Collection kit No. 2002, in the Brazilian Tamiya Modelos Plásticos issue imported to Canada by Borgfeldt.
