The Takom 2176 1/35 Panzerkampfwagen V Panther Ausf. A Late Production is a detailed plastic model kit of Germany’s iconic WWII Panther medium tank in its late Ausf. A configuration, representing one of the final evolutionary stages of this design before the transition to the Ausf. G.

The Panther was developed as a response to the Soviet T-34, combining strong sloped armor, high mobility, and the powerful 7.5 cm KwK 42 L/70 gun, making it one of the most effective medium tanks of WWII. The Ausf. A introduced refinements over the earlier D model, and late-production vehicles featured updated fittings such as revised turret details, improved command cupola configurations, and field-adapted equipment changes seen in 1944 operational deployments on both Eastern and Western Fronts.
