Peter Gregg’s Brumos Porsche team from Jacksonville, Florida, made the white, red and blue #59 one of the most famous liveries in American sports car racing. At the 1975 24 Hours of Daytona, Gregg and Hurley Haywood drove their Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 to overall victory. It was Brumos’ second Daytona win, following their 1973 win in a 911 Carrera RSR. That year the IMSA field was full of 911s. Even so, the Brumos car beat the field over 24 hours on the banking and infield road course. Gregg and Haywood went on to become one of the most successful partnerships in IMSA history. This Spark 1/18 replica depicts the winning #59 car in its classic Brumos livery.
