Description
SPK18LM84 - Spark Model 1/18 Porsche 956 Winner Le Mans 1984
The Porsche factory team skipped Le Mans in 1984 over a dispute about fuel rules, which opened the door for the privateer teams. Reinhold Joest’s New Man-sponsored 956 led much of the race, and Henri Pescarolo and Klaus Ludwig drove it to victory. It was a record fourth Le Mans win for Pescarolo and Ludwig’s second. The same chassis came back the following year and won again, making it one of the few cars to take back-to-back victories at La Sarthe.
