The M1 Assault Breacher Vehicle (ABV) is a modern U.S. Marine Corps combat engineering vehicle based on the M1 Abrams chassis, designed to clear mines, obstacles, and fortified battlefield defenses. Equipped with a full-width mine plow and line charge deployment system (MICLIC), the ABV provides assault units with a critical breakthrough capability under combat conditions, allowing rapid lane clearance through minefields and barrier systems. Rye Field Model’s 1/35 scale kit accurately reproduces this specialized engineering variant with highly detailed exterior components, realistic armored shaping, and a complex obstacle-clearing system characteristic of deployed USMC vehicles.
