Show jumping is one of the most technically demanding equestrian disciplines, requiring precise communication between horse and rider to clear fences up to eight feet in height. The horse depicted in this kit is presented in show tack, with a traditional Hunt Seat Saddle and English bridle, the standard equipment for hunters and jumpers in competitive ring events. Revell's horse model kits were a popular figure modelling series aimed at equestrian enthusiasts, produced from the early 1960s through the 1970s.
