RMXH-652 - Revell 1/72 Fokker DR-1 Triplane - WWWEB10103732
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Fokker Dr.I was a German single-seat triplane fighter introduced in late 1917, instantly recognizable by its three stacked wings. The layout gave an exceptional climb rate and tight turning ability, making it a formidable close-in dogfighter despite a modest top speed. It became one of the enduring symbols of WWI air combat, famously flown by Manfred von Richthofen (the "Red Baron") and Werner Voss.
This is the vintage Revell "Authentic Kits" boxing of the 1/72 Fokker Dr.I, copyright 1966, based on Revell's classic 1960s tooling. Roughly 3.9″ wingspan when built; box art and decals represent Werner Voss's personal aircraft.
Box contents:
- Injection-moulded plastic parts on sprue, with movable rotary engine, wheels, and propeller
- Pilot figure
- Display stand
- Waterslide decal sheet (Werner Voss personal markings and German insignia)
- Illustrated assembly/painting instructions with collector's three-view drawing and aircraft history
