Description
RMXH-612 - Revell 1/72 Messerschmitt Me109 - WWWEB10103548
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Bf 109E "Emil" was the Luftwaffe's principal fighter through the campaigns of 1939-41, powered by the fuel-injected DB 601 and armed with two wing-mounted 20mm cannon. It bore the brunt of the Battle of Britain, where its short range over southern England proved its greatest limitation against Fighter Command. Brian Knight's box art depicts an Emil in Luftwaffe markings with a Gruppenkommandeur chevron and black cat emblem.
This is the early-1960s Revell tooling in the classic "frameable box top" issue with side-panel artwork for the Hurricane, Fw 190, Zero, and P-51D from the same series.
Box contents:
- Parts molded in plastic with clear canopy
- Waterslide decals for Luftwaffe markings
- Assembly instructions
