RMXH-177 - Revell 1/83 Douglas A3D "Skywarrior" - WWHP111821
Preowned, resealed, some parts off sprue, box damanged
The Douglas A3D Skywarrior was a carrier-based strategic bomber developed for the United States Navy in the early 1950s to deliver nuclear weapons from aircraft carriers. Entering service in 1956, it was the heaviest aircraft of its era to operate from a carrier deck, powered by two Pratt & Whitney J57 turbojets, and later adapted into tanker, reconnaissance, and electronic warfare variants that served into the 1990s. This is the Revell "Famous Aircraft Series" boxing (H-177) of the original 1956 Revell tooling, printed in Canada with bilingual French instructions.
