The 1962 Corvette was the final year of the first-generation C1 body, powered by the 327 cubic inch small-block V8 available with Rochester Fuel Injection producing up to 360 bhp — the "Fuel Injection" badge prominently featured on this kit's box art. The 1962 model eliminated the chrome outline around the bodyside coves and added a blackout grille, making it the cleanest-looking of the early Corvettes.
