The 1969 Chevrolet Nova COPO (Central Office Production Order) was a factory sleeper — ordered by select dealerships through GM's internal ordering system to bypass corporate restrictions on large engines in small cars. Equipped with the 427 cubic inch L-72 V8 producing 425 bhp, the COPO Nova became one of the most feared drag strip cars of the muscle car era and is now among the most collectible of all late-1960s performance vehicles.
