Steve Kinser is regarded as the greatest sprint car driver in history, claiming 20 World of Outlaws championships between 1978 and 2013 and over 680 feature wins across his career. Running his #11 Quaker State-sponsored machine out of the Outlaws circuit, Kinser became synonymous with 410 sprint car racing. The "Superman" livery was one of several distinctive sponsor-themed schemes Kinser ran during his long career, with the bold DC Comics graphics making it one of the most visually striking sprint cars of its era.
