The BMW-developed MINI Cooper R53 was launched in 2001, the first all-new Mini since the British Leyland original. Built on a BMW platform with a supercharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder producing 115 bhp, the R53 revived the Cooper name for a new generation. The car went on to win the 2012 Production Car class at the Nürburgring 24 Hours and became one of the best-selling compact cars of the 2000s. Revell rebox, 2001. Skill Level 2.
