The USCGC Eagle (WIX-327) is a 295-foot barque that serves as a training ship for US Coast Guard officer cadets. She was built in 1936 in Bremerhaven, Germany, as the sail training ship Horst Wessel for the German Navy, then taken by the United States as a war reparation in 1946 and renamed. She remains in service today, based in New London, Connecticut. This is Revell's 1982 reboxing of the classic 1950s tooling.
