Description

RMX4111 - Revell 1/72 Fokker Eindecker E-III - WWWEB10106506

Preowned, Resealed, Mint

The Fokker E.III was the aircraft that gave the Germans the Fokker Scourge of late 1915 and early 1916. It was an unremarkable wing warping monoplane with a 100 hp Oberursel rotary, but it carried the first practical synchronising gear, letting the pilot aim the whole aeroplane and fire a Spandau straight through the propeller arc. Immelmann and Boelcke built their reputations on it, and Allied crews called their own machines Fokker fodder until the DH.2 and Nieuport 11 restored the balance.

In the box:

  • Injection moulded plastic parts, moulded in colour in tan, on the sprues and bagged
  • Parts breakdown covering fuselage halves, one piece wing, tailplane, rudder, cowling and rotary engine, propeller, pylon and bracing struts, undercarriage, wheels and Spandau gun
  • Pilot figure included
  • Waterslide decal sheet with black German national crosses in several sizes for wings, fuselage and tail, marked for Fok E.III 210/16
  • Folded multilingual instruction sheet with exploded assembly diagram and decal placement
  • Top opening rigid box with period Revell artwork
  • Paint and cement not included
