The 1997 NASCAR season was Mike Skinner's first full year in the Cup Series, driving the #31 Lowe's Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing after winning the inaugural Craftsman Truck Series championship in 1995. He announced himself by taking the pole for the 1997 Daytona 500 and went on to claim Rookie of the Year honours. This Revell Monogram kit captures his blue and yellow Lowe's Monte Carlo with updated 1997 bodywork, a detailed 358 c.i. engine, and a NASCAR-spec roll cage.
