The GG400 (Gerätegruppe 400) was a compact 400-watt portable generator used by the Wehrmacht to power radio equipment, powered by an air-cooled single-cylinder two-stroke engine producing 0.9 hp at 4,800 rpm and outputting 12V or 16V DC. It was a standard fitting on signals variants of German vehicles including the SdKfz 251/3 halftrack, and also appeared on Tiger I command tanks and other command and communications vehicles.
