RAG04670 - Revell - 1/72 Halifax B.Mk.I/II - WWWEB10110812
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
The Handley Page Halifax was the other half of Bomber Command's heavy bomber effort, entering service in late 1940 and flying its first operation months before the Lancaster appeared. Early Merlin-engined Mk.I and Mk.II aircraft carried the weight of the night offensive over Germany, and Canadian squadrons of 6 Group flew the type in large numbers. The GR II served Coastal Command on long maritime patrols, hunting U-boats over the Atlantic.
