The Arado Ar 240 was a German twin-engine multi-role aircraft designed in the late 1930s as a heavy fighter, but persistent handling and technical problems led to its cancellation in 1942 after only a small number were built. A few were fitted out as night fighters and used to defend the Arado factory. The C-02 modelled here, BO+RC, wore a Luftwaffe night-fighter scheme in early 1943.
