The Spitfire Mk V was the most numerous Spitfire variant, pairing the earlier airframe with the more powerful Merlin 45 engine to counter the Luftwaffe's Bf 109F. The Vb introduced the mixed armament of two 20mm Hispano cannon and four .303 Browning machine guns, and served worldwide from 1941, including with USAAF squadrons in England and North Africa. This Pro Modeler kit is a Revell-Monogram release with engraved panel lines and optional standard or clipped wing tips.
