Warhammer Colour Paint (Citadel)
Warhammer Colour is the official Games Workshop paint range, sold for decades as Citadel Colour. The paints, formulas and colour names are the same, so any guide or recipe written with Citadel names still applies.
The range includes Base, Layer, Shade, Contrast, Dry and Technical paints, along with primers, sprays and varnishes. New for autumn 2026 is Warhammer Tone Pro: 30 colours, each in five numbered tones from 1 (darkest) to 5 (lightest), designed to make layering, highlighting and blending easier. Tone Pro sits alongside the existing range rather than replacing it.
Browse by paint type using the categories above, or search a colour name directly.
