Neon Genesis Evangelion, created by Hideaki Anno and first broadcast in 1995, became one of the most influential anime series of all time and sparked a boom in figure and garage kit collecting across Japan. Misato Katsuragi, NERV's operations director and reluctant guardian to Shinji Ikari, is one of the series' most beloved characters, famous for her relaxed off-duty moments at home with her pet warm-water penguin Pen Pen and a steady supply of Yebisu beer. This officially licensed 1/8 resin kit from Musasiya, released under Sega Enterprises, captures exactly that scene, with Misato seated on the floor and Pen Pen at her side.
