This kit replicates the Messerschmitt Bf 109H-1, a high-altitude development of the 109 designed to intercept aircraft and conduct reconnaissance at extreme altitudes. The H series used an enlarged, extended wing center section to lift it higher, but the program was abandoned after wing flutter problems and the broader shift in Luftwaffe priorities, so only a handful of prototypes and pre-production examples were built. This is an MPM limited-edition injection-molded kit produced in the Czech Republic.
