The Fw 190A-5/V14 was a factory prototype conversion of the A-5 airframe trialling the BT 700 torpedo in the anti-shipping role, tested in 1943 as part of efforts to develop a torpedo-capable single-engine fighter for operations over the Baltic and North Sea. The conversion retained the standard armament while adding a centreline BT 700 torpedo, underwing ETC racks, and a modified release mechanism, though the programme did not proceed to large-scale production. MPM's 1994 limited edition injection kit is one of the few 1/72 scale representations of this specialist variant.
