Preowned, Resealed, Mint inside, Box damaged

Hawker’s Typhoon was meant to be a high-altitude interceptor, but its thick wing and powerful 24-cylinder Napier Sabre engine made it far better suited to fast, low-level work. As a fighter-bomber armed with four 20mm cannon and either bombs or eight RP-3 rockets, the “Tiffie” became one of the most feared Allied aircraft over Normandy in 1944. RAF and RCAF squadrons used it to destroy tanks, trains and strongpoints across Northwest Europe. This 1990 Monogram release shows a rocket-armed Typhoon with a bold blue and white checkerboard band on the rear fuselage.
