Michael Waltrip drove the #30 Pennzoil Pontiac Grand Prix for Bahari Racing from 1991 through 1995, replacing the Country Time Lemonade sponsorship that had carried the team through the late 1980s and 1990. The 1991 season was Waltrip's strongest to that point in his Cup career, finishing 15th in the championship standings, earning his first two career pole positions, and winning the non-points Winston Open at Charlotte. Pennzoil would remain with the #30 Bahari Pontiac for five seasons, making this one of the more enduring sponsorships of the early 1990s Winston Cup era.
