The Porsche 911 GT3 RSR was the factory’s top customer racing 911 of the mid 2000s, and it dominated the GT2 class in sportscar racing worldwide. California-based Flying Lizard Motorsports, founded by gentleman racer Seth Neiman, brought its striking silver and red dragon livery to the 2005 24 Hours of Le Mans with the #80 GT3 RSR. Neiman shared the car with Lonnie Pechnik and Johannes van Overbeek. The team went on to become one of the most successful Porsche privateers in American Le Mans Series history.
