The two-seat Super Hornet remains the backbone of the US Navy's carrier air wing, with the rear cockpit weapon systems officer running air-to-ground and reconnaissance tasks while the pilot flies the aircraft. Meng's tooling replaced kits that were two decades old and is widely regarded as the best 1/48 Super Hornet available, officially licensed by Boeing.
