Grumman S-2N/S-2A Tracker, Royal Netherlands Naval Air Service — Kinetic 1/48 (No. K48118)

The Grumman S-2 Tracker was a US carrier-based twin-engine anti-submarine warfare aircraft, first flown in 1952 as the first purpose-built aircraft to combine the submarine hunter and killer roles in a single airframe. The Royal Netherlands Naval Air Service (Marineluchtvaartdienst) operated the type from the late 1950s, flying both from shore bases and from the carrier HNLMS Karel Doorman, with the S-2A as the initial variant and the S-2N a later Dutch-upgraded standard. This is Kinetic's 2022 boxing of its S-2 tooling with new Netherlands markings.
