The M977 HEMTT (Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck) is an 8x8 heavy logistics vehicle developed by Oshkosh for the U.S. Army in the 1970s. Designed to supply frontline units with fuel, ammunition, and other materiel across difficult terrain, the HEMTT family became a cornerstone of American military logistics and saw extensive service during Operation Desert Storm and subsequent conflicts. The M977 is the cargo-bodied variant, equipped with a hydraulic crane for self-loading operations.
