The Henschel 33 was Germany's most-produced three-axle 3-tonne truck of the Second World War, manufactured from 1934 to 1942 with approximately 22,000 built. The D1 variant was powered by a 10.8-litre six-cylinder petrol engine. Used by all branches of the Wehrmacht, the Henschel 33 served on every front from France in 1940 through the Eastern Front, North Africa, and Italy, performing general transport, supply, and towing duties throughout the war.
