Description
ICM35241 - ICM 1/35 PzKpfw II (F) 'Flamingo' WWII German Flame-thrower - WWWEB10103874
Preowned, Original seal, Mint
The PzKpfw II (F) "Flamingo" (Flammpanzer II) was a flamethrower conversion based on the fast Panzer II Ausf. D/E chassis, fitted with two hull-mounted flame projectors fed from external fuel tanks and a small turret retaining a single machine gun. Roughly 155 were built or converted, seeing combat in the opening phase of Operation Barbarossa in 1941 before the type was withdrawn and rebuilt into other variants. It remains one of the more unusual early-war German armour subjects.
This is a 1/35 scale injection-moulded plastic kit from ICM's Famous Tanks (1939–1945) series, made in Ukraine.
Box contents:
- Injection-moulded plastic parts for the Flammpanzer II hull, turret, flame projectors, and running gear
- Link-and-length or individual track parts
- Marking decals
- Assembly instructions
