Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Ryan STM (Sport Trainer Military) was a two-seat monoplane trainer developed from the Ryan ST civil sportplane. Adopted by the US Army Air Corps as the PT-20, it served as a primary trainer in the early years of the Second World War before being largely superseded by the Fairchild PT-19 and PT-26. The type was also exported widely — the RAAF operated it in Australia, and the Dutch NEIAF (Netherlands East Indies Air Force) used it for pilot training in the Dutch East Indies prior to the Japanese invasion of 1942. High Planes Models is an Australian short-run manufacturer known for covering obscure Commonwealth and Pacific theatre subjects not addressed by mainstream kit makers.
