Description
HEL80747 - Heller 1/24 Ferrari 512S - WWHP111932
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Ferrari 512S was Ferrari's factory response to the Porsche 917 in the 1970 World Sportscar Championship, powered by a 5-litre flat-12 engine producing around 550 horsepower. Raced by the factory Scuderia Ferrari team and numerous privateer entrants across the 1970 season, it competed at Le Mans, Sebring, Monza, and Spa, though the 917 ultimately proved faster over the course of the championship. The 512S was later updated to the aerodynamically revised 512M specification for 1971.
