Description
HEL80327 - Heller - 1/72 JAGUAR A - WWWEB10106118
Preowned, resealed, mint, some parts off sprue
The SEPECAT Jaguar was a joint Anglo-French project between Breguet in France and BAC in Britain. It began in 1965 as an advanced trainer and grew into a supersonic tactical strike aircraft. Two Rolls-Royce/Turbomeca Adour turbofans power it, and its rugged landing gear lets it operate from rough forward airstrips. The single-seat Jaguar A entered French Air Force service in 1973 and became France’s main overseas strike aircraft. It flew combat missions in Mauritania and Chad, during the 1991 Gulf War as part of Opération Daguet, and over the Balkans, then retired in 2005. This Heller kit builds a French Air Force Jaguar A with a full load of underwing stores and markings for two squadrons.
- Light grey and white injection-moulded plastic parts
- Clear canopy parts
- Drop tanks, bombs and underwing stores
- These parts are off the sprue but unbuilt: the tail fin, a long slender stores pod or drop tank half, the clear canopy, windscreen and small clear light parts, the ejection seat, and a few small cockpit and landing gear pieces. (All bagged)
- Decals for 2 aircraft, with full “Ne Pas Marcher” stencils and ejection seat warning markings:
- E.C. 1/11 “Roussillon”, A104, “11-EK”
- E.C. 4/7 “Limousin”, A131, “7-NA”, with eagle and triangle squadron badges
- Illustrated multilingual instructions with aircraft history
