The Lockheed T-33 Shooting Star was a two-seat jet trainer developed from the single-seat P-80/F-80 fighter, first flying in 1948. More than 6,500 were built, and the type served with over 30 air forces in training, light attack, and reconnaissance roles, with some examples flying into the 2000s. In Canadian service the licence-built version was designated the CT-133 Silver Star. This is HobbyCraft's 1992 new-tool kit, packaged with markings for three nations.
