Description
HOBHC1567 - Hobbycraft 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf109C - WWWEB10113809
Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The Bf 109C was one of the early Jumo powered variants, introduced in 1938 with direct fuel injection and four MG 17 machine guns, two of them now in the wings. It served briefly with the Condor Legion in Spain and with front line Jagdgeschwader into 1939 before the E model took over.
This is Hobbycraft kit HC1567 in 1/48, part of the Canadian firm's 1992 range covering the early 109 variants that few other makers had touched. Simple parts breakdown with good raised and engraved surface detail. Decals cover a 2./JG 71 Richthofen aircraft in 1939 and a Fliegerschule 2 machine in 1940, both in the standard RLM 70/71 over RLM 65 scheme.
- Grey styrene parts trees for fuselage, wings, tail, and undercarriage
- Clear sprue with canopy
- Waterslide decal sheet with two Luftwaffe marking options
- Illustrated instructions and painting guide
