The Beech Model 18 twin served as the Allies' standard light transport and crew trainer through the Second World War, and the C-45H was the postwar rebuild programme: improved wings, new engines and better performance, keeping the type in air force service well into the 1960s. The RCAF flew them in a striking natural metal and red scheme with day-glo trim. Hobbycraft Canada tools the postwar nacelles, wings and propellers specific to this version.
