Description

HBB83214 - Hobbyboss - 1/32 A-26C Invader

During World War II, the Douglas A-26 Invader emerged as one of the fastest and most capable twin-engine light bombers in Allied service. Designed by Ed Heinemann, it combined high speed, heavy firepower, and strong low-level attack performance, allowing it to operate effectively in both European and Pacific theaters. First seeing combat in 1944, the A-26 continued to serve long after the war, later flying in Korea and even Vietnam in heavily modified forms. Its versatility earned it a reputation as one of the most successful attack aircraft of its era.

This HobbyBoss 1/32 A-26C Invader (83214) is a large-scale plastic model kit of the glass-nose bomber variant, designed for precision detail and a high level of display impact. The kit features finely engraved surface detail, a highly detailed cockpit and bombardier station, and a full twin-engine layout with complex landing gear and bomb bay structures. Clear parts are included for the canopy and nose glazing, allowing full visibility of the interior detail. The large 1/32 scale provides extensive opportunity for detailing, painting, and weathering.
