Preowned, Resealed, Mint
The K5(E) was Germany's most-produced railway gun of the Second World War, firing a 255kg shell to a range of approximately 62km from a carriage mounted on twin bogies. Two K5(E) guns, named Robert and Leopold, were deployed at Anzio in early 1944 to shell Allied beachhead positions and the port of Anzio itself — Leopold earning particular notoriety as the gun Allied troops nicknamed "Anzio Annie." When not firing, the guns were sheltered in railway tunnels to avoid Allied air attack. Leopold survived the war and was salvaged by US forces; it is currently preserved at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.
