The GMC CCKW-353 was the standard 2.5-ton 6x6 cargo truck of the U.S. Army in the Second World War, produced in enormous quantities and serving across every theatre of operations. The gasoline tank (bowser) variant was used extensively for fuel distribution at airfields and forward supply points, and is depicted here in typical U.S. Army Air Forces airfield service. The CCKW became one of the most important logistical vehicles of the war, earning the nickname "Jimmy" among Allied troops.

Part of Hasegawa's original 1970s Mini Box vehicle series, first released in 1974. Box has been resealed.
